Dr Chris Palmer
Gender: Male
Chris has had circuitous route to his role as a partner in Nightingale Valley, held since August 2024. He completed a BSc in Biological Sciences (neuroscience) in Edinburgh in 2006, followed by some years living and working in London in another field, then a return to education, with completion of his medical training at the University of Birmingham in 2013. Initial medical training in and around London, and a brief foray into anaesthetics training was followed by a return to his West Country roots, with GP training in Bath completed in 2021. Some rewarding years working as a GP in the local prison system followed, alongside community GP work, before his transition to partnership here. When not with his young family, he tries to keep fit and strong through CrossFit and connected to nature through hiking, surfing and gardening.
