Primary qualifications: MBChB 1987, MRCGP, DRCOG, FPCert, Dip Geriatric Medicine
Katharine joined the practice in February 2001. Before that she worked in medicine for the elderly. She has a special interest in women's health and contraception, medicines safety, is a GP trainer and belongs to Royal College of GPs Over-diagnosis and Optimal testing groups. She is interested in lifestyle medicine and how the way we live can have a big impact on improving our health. Outside the surgery she goes running and cycling to counteract the effects of sitting in a chair all day at work, tried to keep her allotment under control and plays the saxophone in the Bristol Little Big band.
